Ministry Team Descriptions

     Whether you’ve been attending SPC for some time or just a short while, you’re encouraged to investigate the opportunities for involvement in this church family by sitting in on a meeting of one of the Ministry Teams listed below.  Plan to come for a 6:30 dinner on Wednesday, March 14 in Fellowship Hall followed by the team meetings at 7:30.  Youth Club meets at the same time as the Ministry Teams.

      Adult Education:

·         Oversee plans for Sunday morning adult classes

·         Oversee plans for mid-week small groups

·         Arrange for mentoring of new believers

·         Oversee fellowship aspect of special events

·          Plan educational seminars

     Children and Youth Ministry:

·         Plan Sunday School

·         Oversee nursery

·         Maintain Junior Church program

·         Plan Wednesday night children’s program

·         Initiate mission projects (i.e.: Christmas Boxes, boxes for soldiers, Planned Famine)

·         Support youth group ministry

·         Look into start-up of a pre-school at SPC

·         Plan creative programs (i.e.: Christmas pageant, Easter events, Vacation Bible School)

·          Review and maintain Child Protection Policy

    Community Outreach:
